Graphic Artist Training Manual
The current pandemic has challenged us all to adapt to a new way of life, work, and study. During my final weeks at the CSUDH Career Center, I realized that I would not have the opportunity to train the new Graphic Artist intern. I considered the difficulties that this could create not only for the new intern, but for the career coaches, peer mentors, and other Career Center staff. With this in mind, I took the initiative to create a training manual and put together templates and guides to prepare the new artist with everything they may need. I created a list of my daily work duties and made sure to write clear and concise step by step guides for all tasks expected of the graphic artist, both remotely and on site for when the time came. I then designed a training manual using a minimal layout that stayed true to the CSUDH branding guidelines and enjoyed the opportunity to utilize attention to detail in my work.
